Program to spot dolphins in Suriname
In Suriname, this pink dolphin specie is called “Profosu”. The dolphins in Suriname have a pink belly and are very curious. The dolphins, can swim close to the boat or give a show and jump into the sky. Over the past five years, the dolphins have received a lot of attention because more and more dolphins disappear. Foundation Green Heritage Fund has set up a research program to gather more information about this particular dolphin specie.
Notes:
You can spot dolphins, 2 times a day, in the morning around 10.00 and at 16.00.
Price is with a minimum attendance of 4 persons. The price for 1-2 person trip is upon request.
Sustainable: We believe the best way to see dolphins is in their natural habitat or not at all. We only offer excursions where wild dolphins can be seen in their natural environment and they do not force them to entertain.
