Program of your experience in Kabalebo
A stay at Nature Resort Kabalebo offers many possibilities. You can stay near the lodge to be pampered with refreshing drinks and exotic snacks, lying in a hammock, relaxing at the pool enjoying the sunset.
Day 1: Go with a taxi to Zorg en Hoop airport located in Paramaribo (at your own expense). In about 1,5 hours you will arrive at Kabalebo resort. There you will be welcomed by the hostess with a cold drink.
In the evening you will walk in the jungle near the lodge and the guide will show you traditional plants used by the Amerindians against all kinds of diseases.
Day 2: Today you can go sailing with the guide in a traditional canoe to spot animals, such as birds, caimans, and other wild animals. You will make a stop and have lunch at the fantastic Revelation waterfalls.
Day 3: The misty mountain is calling you…so with your guide, you will hike and enjoy the river from the mountaintop!
Day 4: Before you leave the lodge, you can enjoy the river one last time and go kayaking on the Kabalebo river. If you are lucky you can spot the Jaguar or tapir! After lunch, you will say goodbye to Kabalebo and fly back to Zorg en Hoop Airport in Paramaribo. From here you can take a taxi at your own expense to your hotel.
Notes:
For fishermen, it is good to know that this river has many exotic fish species, and due to our respect for nature, its only catch and release!
You can spot ocelots near the resort for an extra fee.
Price is based on 2 persons in a room in Inspiration Point.
You are allowed to take 7 kg of luggage with you on the plane.

Kabalebo offers six different accommodations, ranging from lux, air-conditioned rooms to adventure, traditional cottages on the banks of the majestic Kabalebo River. The units are characterized by a unique and extremely stylish approach where quality always comes first. In the swimming pool in the resort, you can cool off after a long day of activities.
Especially for our clients, we made a selection of 2 facilities out of our experience.
Inspiration Point: Here you will have your own room with a bed, toilet, and bathroom. Overlooking the Rainforest, the pool, and a small airport.
River Cabin: You will have your own Cabana, based near the riverbank overlooking the Kabalebo river. The cabanas have beds, toilets, and bathrooms.
